Former Dean of the School of Science at Anhui University of Science and Technology and former chief scientist for a project at the State Key Laboratory of Mining Response and Disaster Prevention and Control in Deep Coal Mines.

He previously led the university’s School of Mechanics and Optoelectronic Physics and its Institute of Mining Engineering Mechanics and Support Technology. He also served as chief scientist for a project at the State Key Laboratory of Deep Coal Mining and Environmental Protection.
